I'm watching world news on my computer (France24.com) - it's interesting to get a world view of events.

The "quiet period" for France's election is now in effect - This period of legal prohibition on campaign communications is observed for 44 hours before every French presidential and legislative election.

The disgraceful behavior of some U.S. senators when questioning judge Brown during her SC nomination process was discussed as well as the childish behavior of Repub senators who walked out of the senate when the 53-47 vote was announced.
