I hitched up the horses and made a trip into town this morning.

Costco was my first stop. I arrived at 7:30 and found the gas station virtually empty of cars. Who knew the big rush two weeks ago with the 30-minute wait would get old so soon? The cost was $5.70 per gallon of the high octane gas as my car requires the payday loan kind. I was allowed in the store at nine with all the gray hairs. I bought bread, eggs, the five buck sooper deal chicken, paper towels and a huge bag of potato chips, the grab because I hadn't eaten breakfast and my stomach was complaining. Incidentally, Costco ends the special senior days in two weeks. Boo!

I went to Walmart. They do not carry Hamburger Helper. I went to a food store in the complex and found the goody box. The choice was almost too much for this man of eroding intelligence. There was HH, Tuna HH, Stroganoff HH, Three Cheese HH, Cheesy HH and a couple more. I went with the straight stuff, no chaser.

The list of ingredients reads like a chem lab's complete periodic table. Howsomeever, I'm going to give it a shot.
