Interesting stuff, this was particularly surprising. Cofounder Patryn, real name Dhanani and sporting the untrusting goatee and supposedly a Vice President of a large legitimate bank now.

Didn't do a whole lot of checking on that, but out of curiosity did a little bit, and it seems even though there is or was a guy named Michael Patryn at the bank, it is not the same guy. Profile of him being at the bank assumably created by Dhanani for some reason probably having to do with his work with Fintech Ventures Group up in Canada, another cryptocurrency and blockchain operation, in which he founded.
