Well let me put it this way
Anyone with their LDL cholesterol under 100 mg/ dl on generic statin therapy is unlikely to add a PCSK9 … which needs to be injected … and costs me roughly $100 a month co pay , UNLESS they were very high risk

They are however likely to add Vascepa

So you can’t consider PCSK9’s as a statin add on , the way we consider Vascepa a Statin add on
