I am not so sure this can happen eventually. these kind of crisis are not new. we have these kind of sanctions on other countries as well. Russia being considered super power militarily is the only thing but their economy is BS. So does china and other countries. they cannot sustain without west.

As long as western countries and people believe in democracy and fight for democracy west will prevail.

Western countries designed a very good free markets system(although some might say it's manipulated) but they are not afraid of big swings in currency and commodity prices. Every other country and their leaders do now allow free price discovery of commodities.even India, largest democracy does not allow true price discovery. they subsidize oil prices a lot even if the govt is taking huge losses.

Just take recent times on bitcoin and cryptocurrency. every country including russia,china,india banned them,restricted them and not sure if they even allow now. take usa and west. they are the ones who have to worry about it as us dollar is reserve currency and bitcoin can replace it. have you seen any bans on trading bitcoin. nope.
