What if the rules are wrong?

O.K....All we must do is start w/an open mind. Ask a few basic questions. one big question might be ..."Why isn't there a greater emphasis on prevention? Yes, we know, prevention is harder to understand and probably very expensive and (how do we know it is even effective?) . No one said change is going to be easy but IMO, in the case of managing positive QOL our current system is just a lot more expensive, painful and primitive.

Does anyone really believe the current rules have been effective in dealing w/CNS diseases in particular? What could be more fundamental to everyone's QOL than CNS excellence? BTW, we collectively are getting worse every day. BUT, We are getting good at predicting just how many will die 10 years from now from AD. Idiotic.

A simple shift in medical system thinking to create a focus on prevention at least gets us heading down the right path. Change the rules, which are driven by selecting the right goals. PREVENTION MATTERS.
