Large Green, if you look at the report for these 7 new trading symbols, they are for MBS netting.....what does this mean?.... it could be an arbitrage, or offsetting strategy to hedge their MBS held in the DTCC because of the Ukraine , Russian War.....like JPM could sell some interests they have in MBS, then take the money and invest in another venue to offset losses in the MBS.....its a simple strategy and goes with the stock strategy as listed in the article I posted about netting, where you short 35 shares of a stock, and buy 65 shares long in the same stock.... so, with any movement in the stock price, the losses balance out....like a teeter totter, where a 100lb. man sits at 1 foot from the fulcrum, and is balance by a 50 lb man sitting 2 feet from the fulcrum....this is a crude example, but the ratio is 2:1, meaning losses would have to go over 2 times to incur a loss in profit....
