Between my broker & Cliff's WFC inquiry, I wanted to nail down the pathway that MY (by extension OUR) $Recovery takes to reach my accounts, hence I sought clarification from SEC and Computershare websites.

My conclusion:
==> My broker= Path 1 - Transfer Agent (via DTC) -> Brokerage (including banks) -> me

The pathway how I receive my $Recovery distribution is now crystal clear...no need to get anxious anymore due to different brokerage/bank info floating out there to no one's fault.

As my broker repeatedly informed me that once the Corp. Action Dept receives the latest "instruction"/message from DTC, we, the account holders would be advised via its "alert" messaging feature and the distribution will appear in our accounts up to 4 business from the announced date of distribution.

the "DTC" Distributes "CASH" per the Instructions Given it,

"Computershare" Is The Company's Transfer Agent which distributes "Shares" per the instructions Given it ...

... The Records of Ones Original Ownership and Release To Participate in the WMI Holding Company's Court Approved Reorganization, Have NOT Disappeared ...

... the "Mr Cooper Group", continues as a subsidiary group' ... merely using the four letter symbol "COOP" ... although the "as of 12/31/2021" 10-K did not reveal all that I had hoped for, the 10-K DID CONTINUE TO VERIFY This' ... merely listing the "Registrant" and Humorously, only ONE' operational Sub ... LOL'
