Rand Paul could be an interesting choice....

Cruz....sorta ok...

only good thing about McConnell was he knew how to work the position

Imo, someone new and fresh that had or could adopt that skill
quickly
would be the best choice

even if they were brand new....they'd have the energy needed

Scott might be going for it.......

Maybe what's needed is a majority of republicans willing to
remove them if they don't do the job right...
give 'em a year...don't work out...kick 'em out
move on to the next
