At first blush, I'm surprised and disappointed Harris has done as well as she has. It illustrates people in good part vote party, not candidate. Harris a lightweight and deserves to be trounched.
Politics is not fair, however. I learnt that as an elected official in Boston.
I pulled an upset and beat the incumbent. I worked like a trojan in office, did a lot of good things and deserved to carry every precinct by a wide margin in my reelection. I did carry every precinct but a couple of precincts were close. They shouldn't have been. It showed me that politics is not fair.
