Except for one thing, if Dr. Liau had an Abstract accepted for a conference like ASCO, the Journal would not publish until after the presentation. We cannot control how soon they'll publish, but we can establish that they won't publish before a date certain.

If anyone involved has any control it's Dr. Liau. If she's asked to make a change, or clarify something in her submittal, she might take an hour, day, week, or even month to answer. We know she's involved in many different trials, speaking engagements, and she's still a surgeon with patients, I doubt if questions from a Journal are her highest priority.

Perhaps someone knows I'm wrong about this, if the company gets everything that Dr. Liau gets as lead clinician and author, perhaps they can answer with higher priority, I don't know if that's the case. I've got to believe Dr. Liau will get support from the company if she asks for it, but also that she must concur with anything they prepare for submission to the Journal. I'm sure that many are credited with the publication, but Dr. Liau is the lead author and should be in agreement with all that's in the presentation.
