Gman a very good question which some others on this board, since deleted, misinterpreted.

It is frustrating when one sees companies that are worth billions, whose quarterly returns are extremely complex, file early or on time WHILE at the same time seeing TODOS, a 30 million market cap company, file toward the end of the alloted time.

A lot of it has to do with money, manpower and the ability to generate the quarterly report successfully.

For example, annual financials which must be audited and CPA approved, are much easier for billion dollar companies to file because they have the $$$$ to hire such firms as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse etc to do the work.
Smaller companies do not have that luxury and hire smaller, less populated firms, or hire a CPA who works alone.

Joe Forkeys post is very informative.

I agree that the sooner we can see improved revenues, the sooner we might get a pop in share price.
