In line with their strategy of staying silent (except major milestones), I personally don’t think first compassionate use patient is something they’d PR considering they had gotten MHRA certification 2 months ago just to do that. That’s simply not been their behavior in the last 17 odd months during this silent period where they have avoided being repetitive (or stating the obvious) and have been fairly conservative with what they PR.

After the MHRA certification in late Dec, there were no more hurdles in terms of compassionate use and they were expected to enroll multiple patients in Q1. That to me indicates they have no other short term (major) announcements in sight to keep investors engaged so they decided to PR this to buy themselves another couple of months. I personally don’t think they would have done that PR if TLD+pub and approval was coming in March. Again, these are all my opinions, but I feel strongly about this.

By the way, I am in no way suggesting that the data is bad or they won’t get MHRA or EU approvals. It’s just that with NWBO team everything takes longer than expected and they are not that proactive. I think DI is either a BS artist or he just doesn’t know! In a way, he is doing his job to keep investors upbeat!
