Let me see if I understand the historical interference correctly...because Elite did not achieve portability through its opioids, the decision by the CEO to pivot to CNS drugs as the avenue to profitability does not count?

I wasn't trying to make any sort of historical inference, other than methamphetamines are not new, and neither is the idea that they can be used to create super-soldiers. Many historians believe Hitler's batshit crazy military decisions were mainly influenced by chronic amphetamine usage. I wasn't making any connection at all to opioids, but if one would like to, one may infer that amphetamines are just as icky as opioids, if not more so. At least opioids work. Study after study shows Adderall does not boost performance on tests. It is highly effective at increasing confidence and perception of how one did, but Adderall absolutely does not improve test scores. They are just as likely to be abused as opioids, and in my opinion, they are much more significant gateway drug than Norco or Percocet ever could be. The concept that opioids=bad and amphetamines=good is plain silly, from a medical standpoint AND an investment standpoint.

As for the so-called "pivot" to amphetamines, frankly I'm completely bored by the argument at this point, but if investors keep asking me to comment on it, I will be happy to, especially if it is helpful to those investors who seem to lack a true sense of business strategy. Look folks, when you're a multi-billion dollar multi-national corporation, then you should feel very comfortable cutting away the fat that is more trouble than it's worth. When you're Pfizer or Endo or J&J, you can give up your opioids and focus and whatever else, and it will not even be a blip in the financials. When you're a tiny generic pharma with no other legitimate source of income, YOU DO NOT SEVER YOUR OWN UMBILICAL CORD. Look in the Orange Book, there are lots of manufacturers of generic Norco and Percocet who have never been harassed about opioids. If he didn't know about the insurance issue or the lawsuits in 2016 when he focused the entire company effort on opioids, then he should have. Once he made the decision, he was committed, or should have been, and his lack of insight in 2016 and his lack of a spine in 2019 has had a severe and significant adverse impact on investors, literally forever. Any investors who still don't get that while we sit here at over a billion shares and unable to maintain even 4 cents, then not sure I can help, but if you keep asking for my opinion on the subject, I'll keep giving it. GLTA.
