Disco was definitely a coastal thing. It was not well received in the Mid-West.

The wife and I were actually invited to see the White Sox this particular night and the tickets were right behind the visitors dugout in the second row. We had already used them several times that season. I don't remember why we didn't go that night, but always kinda sorta regretted not having been there:
