I have an Ally Invest brokerage account too and it struck me as odd that their representative would apologize due to the sale of my Escrow markers at a penny each.

Something is definitely a foul here. So I drafted a letter demanding that my Escrow markers be reinstated since I did not initiate the sale.

The representative went on to tell me that keeping those so-called worthless escrow markers in my account would incur a $30 fee per month to maintain them in my account.

I kindly sent a certified letter to Apex Clearing Corporation objecting to the sale and threatened them with a lawsuit if my escrow markers were not returned.

If anything, they should respond with the why or who ordered them to sell them.
