Torvec vs Toyota basic comparison.....
The two diagrams below are the Toyota Super CVT followed by the Torvec bus IVT from the website.....Just looking a the two diagrams from a quick visual perspective gives one an idea of how many fewer parts are in the Torvec IVT...appears way less complicated and with 180 or so parts vs. 800 or a thousand parts it's not hard to see where the lower weight, less cost to build, less parts that can break...etc etc etc...comes from..
