I am guessing Perkinamine comes from adding an amine to a chromophore...

This is a scientific fact.

The chromophore is a region in the molecule where the energy difference between two separate molecular orbitals falls within the range of the visible spectrum..

Thus different chromophores can carry different wavelengths of light.

Now Lightwave logic can meet different needs of the end users because their Perkinamine works in every visible light spectrum.

Other that that I have no clue.
