Missling has made too many unforced errors and has demonstrated that he has learned nothing from them. While he deserves credit for getting the company onto Nasdaq, putting cash on the balance sheet and getting two compounds into the clinic, he has reached his level of incompetence and must be replaced by a credible CEO with a track record of success who can take the company forward and create shareholder value. If Missling remains CEO, Anavex will never attract investment from institutional biotech investors (as opposed to index funds).
