What's the Difference? Do you think because God doesn't tell you specifically to do it that you don't have to? The bible tells you to do all things in the name of God - Christ. If you're protecting a country it's generally because there's something at stake that is worth protecting. As a Christian that would be Christianity if I'm not wrong. The things your protecting would be based on your value system and the ideals of the nation that you're fighting for. For Christians that would be Christian values. It doesn't matter if you fly a flag saying "I'm a Christian soldier".. that should be apparent.
