From yesterday's press release:
"Dr. Zyskind most recently served as Vice President of Engineering, Quality and Reliability at Skorpios, where he led the due diligence and selection of the company's foundry partners for fabrication of its Silicon photonic integrated circuits (PICs), as well as PIC qualification and reliability testing."

Skorpios is headquartered in New Mexico less than 20 minutes from Intel's Photonics Foundry. This is the fab where Intel produces all of their transceivers for the datacenter and telecom markets. This is the same fab that LWLG's COO Jim Marcelli publicly stated he toured two years ago with "a friend" who was part of the buildout of a million square foot datacenter just south of Albuquerque (Facebook datacenter).

My point is, LWLG's new VP led Skorpios in the selection of their foundry partners. Skorpios is located in the middle of nowhere, but 20 minutes from one of the top three photonics foundries in the world, and LWLG COO visited the foundry with "a friend". Just pointing out that LWLG also hired Dr. Zyskind to leverage his relationships with foundries i.e. Intel.

For what it's worth, that's my summary of the situation. Can't wait to see if I'm right, and very soon too.
