I can imagine that if I was Alex or Zack, and a company tried to cancel my shares, that I would have some recourse, and I would take it. One way or the other, I think State courts are involved. As i look around the OTC, several Shell companies are petitioning for shares to be cancelled and being awarded those petitions. But those companies are also posting court records showing those efforts.

I'm not aware of CUBV involving the courts in these cancellations. (?)

"Retiring" shares may be as simple as a vote, but Cancelling Restricted shares should be a little more complicated, imo.
