It certainly doesn’t look good for G. Morgan to jump ship and leave Margaret holding the bag. And when they look at the complaints from people who knew the risk and lost money in the stock market, I think the fact that GM abandoned ship won’t go over well with the SEC. The focus may wind up being Morgan, not Sharp. And for people to think they can file a SEC complaint based on the grounds that they lost money in a penny stock, I think they are wasting their time. Nobody forced them to click the mouse and buy shares of highly speculative stock. Filing a complaint with the SEC because you lost money because your stock went down because Sharp didn’t get paid and sued the company, doesn’t make a lot of sense either. Especially since the Judge said Morgan breached the terms of the contract and didn’t pay Sharp.

If Morgan had not breached the contract and paid Sharp, there would have been no lawsuit to begin with. Maybe people should complain to the SEC about Morgan and sue Morgan for mismanagement & negligence. Morgan is the one who opened up the door to a lawsuit by breaching a legal contract.
