Sure would have been nice if Amarin didn't decide to play games and base their headquarters in Ireland to avoid taxes etc. Imagine if Amarin was a US based company employing all US citizens (except in overseas markets) and we were dealt this absurd ruling in a US court that a company from India and another one from England have the right to destroy a US based company over a US patent. I guarantee none of this would have happened if that were the case (Amarin being US company). Foreign companies challenging US patents to essentially take over the US market - have we lost our minds? This truly is theatre of the absurd. This is the most ludicrous ruling by a liberal judge that just wreaks of socialized approach to making drugs more affordable no matter the cost. I hope someone in the judicial system comes to their senses when Marjac goes before them.
