Big Box Pharmacies are reverting more to dispensing the generic clones of Vascepa. This is contributing to the ever present demise of the Amarin share price.
The fact of matter is that eventually Vascepa has to compete with the generics without the protection of patents.
Perhaps the company should start going competing with the generics and beat them in their own game by offering more competitive price points.
Presently Amarin has the economy of the scale strongly in our favor. The economy of scale for Vascepa is deteriorating as generics expand their existing beachheads. Hence should we wield the leverage of the economy of scale sooner the more pressure is exerted of them.
