Went to visit friends in another town, where there was a DVD distribution center that one of them worked at.
I already had been watching the stock back in 2003/2004 and was tempted to buy. Friend mentioned that the CEO had been buying and just added a lot more (public info).
I kept hearing about video on demand, so I figured their DVD by mail business was going to be a dinosaur.
Had I simply done my research into the company, their plans and technology, etc., bought and held, I'd be well north of $7 million now, from $10,000.
That's one of so many missed opportunities.
Instead, I've been chasing my tail on garbage pennies, which I at one time had sworn off.
