I see it as more of a reverse lookup than something truly unethical given the no man's land that we're in with this company on the verge of something great! People are rightfully clamoring for information.

I don't see what he did as Crossing an ethical bounds the fact is a confirmation email is still going to be sent to the email address registered it's a two-tier process to protect it from fraud.

Double D did it knowing that he wouldn't get past the first step so essentially it's just a reverse lookup
