You are right its up to the registered author to delete an account with NREJM. My mistake

You may delete your account at any time by logging into your account and choosing the “delete my account” link on the User ID/Password page.

As I posted yes Bosch could have created his NEJM Author Center before when he submitted the blinded article in 2018, but it's common knowledge that NEJM isn't fond of blinded articles.

It's also been stated that the lead author should be LL.

Ooh absolutely but The NEJM Author Center provides the option to assign co-authors, statistical reviews etc I think LL submitted and Dr Bosch assigned in the NEJM Author Center as a co-author.
