It's instructive to look back on the sp histories of some of the BP goliaths that we all hope AVXL becomes. To name just two - Regeneron and Biogen (combined MC of a 100 bil) - both experienced multiple 50+ % plunges in their formative years just before beginning the steady 30% or so yoy sp increases that we covet for Anavex.

Ok, some questions: 1. Am I happy with the last 3 weeks' sp action? A. No. 2. Have AVXL's fundamentals changed in any way? A. No. 3. Does Anavex still own rights/patents to some very serious game-changing healthcare molecules? A. Yes. 4. Is the company being pinched to any degree either financially or legally? A. No. 5. Does AVXL have a legit shot at emulating the trajectories of a BIIB or RGEN? A. IMO, yes. 6. In light of the answers to questions 1-5, do I need to obsess over current share price, despite my unhappiness with the number? A. No, no, no.
