The first cases of Omicron in the U.S. started on Dec 1. 2021...The Mitigate study started enrolling on August 2020... I assume the majority of Covid cases in the study are of the Delta variant...The 2000 randomized cases in the study may be sufficient cases to provide statistical significance for the prevention and hospitalization (part two of the study) when they stopped enrolling new patients on Jan 11, 2022.
