Just an example of wha I receive daily ....

PT calling about this being to expensive and PROACT informed him that the Generic brand they would except is ICOSAPENTETHYL and also when sending in the script something about removing the DAW it just needed to say straight Vascepa



Here is my response - why isnt AMRN doing this they are TOTALLY USELESS!!

I just has a patient call indicating that you wished substitute generic Vascepa for Vascepa. YOu should be aware that substituting this medication for a CAD indication is direct patent infringement . Law suits are currently being compiled for suppliers that are inducing infringement to supply the medication outside of the skinny patent that was provided for such . YOur request for substitution is a direct induction of infringement and as such may be prosecuted for damages
