Im a truck driver and have no problem shifting gears, especially since a manual transmission is far less expensive to maintain, and especially repair than an automatic, but Id buy an electric truck in a heartbeat if the range is over 600 miles and fast charging stations are in every major truck stop chain, which they will be.
