If schizophrenia is part of a basket, the study to be properly powered will need all its arms to populate the necessary n. To put it another way, just one arm alone -- like Schizophrenia -- would be too underpowered to achieve stat sig for its indication.

I don't know, however, whether a short timed trial arm could stand in for an interim peek or not.
