Should the PR say micrograms instead of milligrams?

Yes, that had to be an error, by some copyist who doesn't know science terminology. "Milligrams" and "micrograms" sound very similar; therefore they must be.

But, not. A microgram is a thousandth of a milligram. A million micrograms in a gram. A thousand milligrams in a gram.

All of the previous studies of Anavex 3-71 have used dosages in micrograms; none in milligrams.

For a multitude of reasons, being able to dose Anavex 3-71 in micrograms is a great advantage. A kilogram of 3-71 will make a thousand more doses (give or take) than a kilogram of 2-73. Cost of synthesis should be similar, but dose manufacture costs much less.
