• EDP-235 phase-1 starting Feb 2022. (EDP-235 is a SARS-CoV-2 protease inhibitor.)



Glad to see that EDP-235 will be finally entering the clinic in about a month. I will feel a lot better when ENTA also chooses one of more other candidates for Hep-B and enters human trials with them. ENTA's goal of functional cure requires one or more to combine with EDP-514.

I looked at their Covid-19 protease inhibitor from PRDS and EDP-235 looks more potent but they are ahead in trials. Your idea of hedging with it sounds reasonable.
