Hammond joined us last as a VP, in July. This was a promotion.

Oh, he came on last July, not today? So he's been with Anavex for a few months now.

Does that mean that last summer, before he signed on with Anavex he couldn't have seen preliminary clinical results; that he signed on merely with magic bean hope, ignorant of the chemistry and therapeutics of blarcamesine?

Either way, doesn't the fellow jeopardize his otherwise exemplary career in drug testing and development by betting the next (last?) years of his career at a nothing-to-sell start-up drug company?
