Now that Sawston is MHRA approved for GMP Manufacturing what are they manufacturing ?

They will need to sign some contracts, first. But that's coming. There are plenty of companies that will be interested. I suspect it could turn into a rather profitable operation. But then the question becomes what to do about NWBO, because it makes no sense for Advent to be manufacturing in a facility owned by a public company whose CEO also owns Advent. It's just not a sustainable arrangement because of the ethical implications and tax complications, so as soon as Advent is generating its own revenue and no longer needs NWBO, I suspect Advent will buy the facility from NWBO at a substantial discount. With any luck NWBO shareholders might get a thank you note.

But the bigger question right now is whether the CEO of NWBO used the promise of TLD to raise $15 million that she then turned around and spent some portion on Sawston. That's a really interesting question, especially if it turns out the DCVax-L data is not very good. In that case the appearance, at least, is that she withheld material negative information in order to raise $15 million to spend on a separate company that she also just happens to own. In other words, she raised $15 million that will be used to pay not just her NWBO salary, but also will at least partially benefit her financially through her Sawston/Advent/Toucan ownership. It would be such a remarkably blatant scam that you have to almost admire the brazenness.

Can't wait to see that TLD! We are going to see it, right? Oh, wait, it turns out there might be some additional Sawston/Advent projects she needs to take care of before we can see that TLD. Those Sawston projects are going to cost more money and right now the only place Advent is getting money is through NWBO and its shareholders, so it looks like TLD might just have to wait a while longer. Sorry!
