Spartex and X... I see that the new patent application covers insertion of up to five diamondoids in and around (poor language) those pi bonds that link the chromophores. I also see in the literature that diamondoids can/do exhibit semiconductor properties. Hmmm...

Shouldn't we be discussing the potential implications of that, here, too? One contributor here, in particular, might be electrified to learn more about that.
