"The roster of companies going public in January is getting longer with TPG, the giant private-equity firm, on tap to list its shares next week.

On Tuesday, TPG set terms for its offering. The alternative-asset manager, based in Fort Worth, Texas, plans to sell 33.9 million shares at between $28 and $31 each, a prospectus said. Of the 33.9 million shares, 28.3 million are coming from TPG itself, while a stockholder is offering roughly 5.6 million. The stock will trade under the Nasdaq ticker TPG."
