Again, slowly…it was not the parked forklift…it was the unsecured open pit. They built a wooden railing around it…thence the high probability that the forklift and operator would both end up in said (formerly) open pit with tragic consequences…

I do thank SHMP for taking my advice and making the drain pit mich safer, though creating an environmental toxic nightmare by using wood.

My comments referring to this was about the (then) wide open pit.

However, the wooden catwalks remain a HUGE OSHA no no. Either OSHA or a competent insurance inspection will certainly put an end to the catwalk nonsense.
