So here how shorting against the box works. It basically means that one takes out a short position in a security they already own.

So how does that work in the case of warrants?

Simple, if one holds a million warrants with the exercise price of $0.20 and haven’t gotten the stock yet, but the pps is still in the money, but dropping quickly…one can lock in the profits by shorting the stock at the higher pps and then simply wait to get the exercised conversions issued to cover.

It is an often used strategy because the pps often becomes highly unpredictable when various forms of dilution start to take hold.

So as George is VERY OFTEN to do, he works in language that he knows can be interpreted in a favorable way by those inclined to do so, but at the same time gives him plausible deniability when the negative reality is revealed.

But I will also go back to another point, if this is not the warrants then this stock is truly screwed, because stock is being issued and turned to free trading from somewhere not known.
