Good point, I implement 2% as 2 times 1%. Normally I have 3 times 1% ready. I found that this setting will suffice for all moves in sector funds. Every possible sale will be executed.
When everything is slow, then 1% at both sides are enough and will catch any improbable action whenever it occurs.
Random 1% txn´s are the nicest ones.
Profitability is only determined by the LIFO gain for any 1%.
At the other end of the scale you have MACRO.
A way of getting more activity is by reducing the Hold zone to 10%, multiplying the PC update factor with 10:20*0.5=0.25. That is also symmetry, which is non-runaway tading. First sell min amount could be 6-10%. Subsequently 1% trades can execute nicely.

I think this is close to nonslide/continuous trading.
