Will do, been doing it since Im off my Crohns medication, Stelara.

I suspect I had a flare up in the past 6 months that is now healing.

My CPR came back at 2.6 and Calprotectin at 201, along with some psoriasis in my body, but no cramps, nausea, and formed stools (TMI, but thats how crohns works lol).

This usually happens when I get a flare up.

Unfortunately I didnt do lab work for around 7 months , prior to this all was normal.

I also was eating horrible and consuming things I should not have for like 3 month straight.

I had a period of 6 month were I fell of the wagon from my previous fasting and healthy lifestyle.

Therefore I can not judge if my flare up is on a downward trend or upward until my next lab work in Februarish.

For the past 3 months I been fasting, intermittent and eating super healthy along with ZERO alcohol and lots of working out.

I started the mushrooms about a month and half ago as I read, specially Chaga, based on a Russian study that it helps with Psoriasis.

Specially those induced by gut issues, as it is suppose to help with TNF regulation.

The 6 day water fast, was to reset my immune system as some studies have suggested.

Thus far on the morning of day 6 when I plan to break my fast, ketones at 3.4 waiting for them too shoot up a bit higher.

The psoriasis this morning seem to have had a 25% improvement it has gone from red to pink and patches look smaller.

Some anecdotal stories say it has cleared after fast that last 2-4weeks.

However this is too much for me for my first prolonged fast, mentally, Im sure our body can handle it.

I will resume my intermittent fast, 16:8 with at least one day of 24 hour fast per week.

I have also started eating beef liver, and bone marrow every day for the past 2 weeks as my multivitamin replacement and iron supplement.

If after 2 months of this my CRP and Calprotectin dont improve I will go back on my medication to get the inflammation under control, not sure which one yet as Stelara wasnt doing much but I dont think my previous lifestyle was giving it a fair chance.

Hopefully the fasting, mushrooms, and lifestyle changes can avoid that path for me.

Will let you know in 2/3 months.

Didn't put any of the studies links because they are easy to google, and you have demonstrated to be a master at finding these
