Yet if you only bet in very small amounts when you do hit, you get your losses back and much more.

We are not talking about going all in on options here.

At least not for me, I use 2% of my portfolio on out of the money puts on the SPX as insurance, about 30% out.

Calls the same deal, while still hold a core long, not on any SPX stock, currently 2 baby bios AVXL and PDSB..

You just need to be ok with loosing almost all the time.

I become a great looser, with a few wins that pay for those losses.
