Explain this to me:
Xeon sales were up >20%
Xeon+Itanium+P4-Celeron unit sales were up ~ 14% (16% revenue increase + small ASP increase)
P4 unit sales were up about 14% - this one is harder to prove, but not impossible. First AMD unit sales were up at least 10% based on the fact that CPG revenues were up 24%.
Intel market share (P4/(P4+AMD)) was up at least 0.5%, per Paul Otellini. (PS, if I use 1%, which I don't believe, it makes Itanium sales look even worse.)
AMD market share is about 1/6.
Therefore AMD unit sales went from 1X to at least 1.1X
If AMD market share is now 1/6-.005, then Intel sales went from 5X to 5.7X. (1.1/(5.7+1.1))=1/6-.005)
This is a 14% increase in P4/Celeron sales.

From the conference call, it sounded like motherboards and chipsets were up at least as much as CPUs -- that makes sense, since the i865 and i875 are killer chipsets compared to the competition. So the 14% estimate for increased P4/Celeron sales may even be conservative.

So, explain this:
P4/Celeron unit sales were up >14%
Xeon unit sales were up >20%
P4/Celeron+Xeon+Itanium unit sales were up 14%

CONCLUSION: Itanium unit sales were up LESS THAN 14%.

Intel competitor would love to get exact Itanium sales figures

All I wanted was the % increase and they didn't even give that.
They did give the % sales increase for Xeon, don't you think more competitors are interested in that number than in Itanium? Well, if Itanium sales were only up 10%, I can certainly understand why Intel didn't advertise it!
