Hello my friends, I have a large position here that I have built over the past 4 years and have been posting on the ST board, and only following the ihub board. I find this interface less friendly than ST, but now here I am because I find this board so much more interesting due to the sheer number of users doing deep DD into AVXL. I am a steadfast believer in this company, and because of the recent move from $3 per share last year, my position has ballooned and reframed my future in ways I could have never imagined just a year ago. If AVXL makes a similar move as it did from 3 - 18 I will never have to work again, and based on everything I'm reading here that is expected by the end of next year.

Of course the making of money is great, but what's even more glorifying is closely following the Anavex story, from MC $200 MM to MC ?? (30-50 Bn seems very doable) and the impact this tiny company may have on healing and restoring our most vulnerable population to healthy minds and bodies.

I am especially grateful for RedShoulder, Falconer, Mayomobile, and many others. Thank you for the abundant research you have provided your fellow Anavexer's.

The last 2 paragraph's stood out because of the reference to the MOA of Blarcamesine, namely increasing cellular autophagy through activation of the Sigma-1 Receptor.

"The human body has a process called autophagy, they noted, which clears used or defective proteins from cells. When people age, autophagy can slow down, although it isn’t clear why, Julian said, which is what his team is attempting to figure out."

“If a slowdown in autophagy is the underlying cause, things that increase it should have the beneficial, opposite effect,” he said.
