CRTG... If that fee wasn't paid and the time to pay it late expired too, then CRTG can stop all the research into their own version, and apply to obtain the CHS patent from the patent office? The boys must know that fact or they would have done it by now, that is if the actual expiring date for paying-up has not been reached yet?

Maybe other Co's have also discovered CHS as well, and are, or already have, applied to obtain the Patent, where CRTG is back in line somewhere, then things make some sense!

I do remember one thing about the initial contract with NDSU, and that is that the lady in charge of that transaction left NDSU for unknown reasons! If that broken deal was the catalyst for her departure, who knows, but that might have something to do with it?
