iwasadiver,

Showing others what can happen with the price in the interim helps but people get attached to watching their brokerage accounts and want to view them like bank accounts instead of fields that have been planted. Once a field is planted you don’t go back and dig up the seed, you wait for the harvest. Sometimes there is a need to wait for the harvest conditions to become favorable which can go into the winter. Knowing there is a harvest to be had but not being able to get it in can be frustrating. Still, unlike some investors here I can’t think of too many farmers that would burn their harvest or sell it for pennies on the dollar just because they had to wait 50% longer than expected from planting to harvest to bring it in. I expected about 20 years from inception or about 2016. I’m only near a 30% greater wait than expected but the crop looks to to be bumperific and the futures are looking real cheap. Best wishes.
