Am I sure about a might (maybe, possibility not any probability stated)? For sure and might are kind of opposite, so not sure of how to answer other than what I stated in the first place.

Sure about that? "The SEC might stop the DWAC within months"

Do I believe that the SEC can set precedence in stopping the merger? Yes, it is a possibility (opposite of absolute no possibility). Probability? No. There's precedence being created by Rump et al. all over the place. Along with ton of ignoring, getting away with, and skirting the laws. There definitely needs to have precedence set to combat it all. There has been precedence created and laws unconventionally used for things in the past. Al Capone era comes to mind for an example. That is for security attorneys or others more qualified to question. Neither you or I are qualified, nor does anyone your asking qualified to answer. Inserting a few past cases doesn't even begin to cover nor prove that there isn't a case that sets precedence already.

Also, I've never said anything about the SEC stopping the merger, just that they might stop Rump and his cohorts entity et al. That's what I meant when I stated "the DWAC", sorry I didn't clarify that better. The SEC has examples up the ying yang for suspending trading and then off to the Grey which effectively stops the main fraud. Rump might do what he has been known to do and just keep moving the goal posts and time and never even have to merge. He's grifting pretty good the way it is just with phony promises and delays to the time merged or site application will just continue that success.

But we know the laws if and how they are enforced are by whoever is in power of the judges, money, and courts. Fraud, corruption, and even "collateral murder" is happening on a regular basis. What if any enforcement? We also know that Rump, et al. uses the courts and his factions to live in. It's his only way of life and pillaging. Always has been. He has so many court cases that won't be able to be addressed completely due to he hasn't got that much time in life left. So this particular enterprise of DWAC scam is just a drop in the bucket and everyday business for him. His only business of his constant enrichment at the expense of others.

Hopefully there will be precedence set and dealing with this kind of corruption. Probability? That's another issue.
