It will definitely effect its price, only a matter of when not if. Investing in chinese stocks is already a huge risk just based on the fact that foreign investors are not allowed to own chinese assets. Now the question of whether this stock will go up or down in the future depends on who you think will be winning this cold war. Personally I think China is mopping the floor with us currently. Half of americans want to separate from the USA. The west is busier fighting amongst ourselves, we still love cheap slave laboured goods from china. They commit genocide and most people here shrug their shoulders and wonder if it's fake news, so we can keep buying from Amazon. So even if China wins at the end of the day, will your shares even be worth a damn? Better to invest in ethical Western companies if you ask me.
